• The enterprise was founded in 1966 by Athanassios Mesohoritis. In the next 5 years he began progressively to collaborate with his brothers Michalis, Yannis and Nikos. In 1977 the informal collaboration between them took the form of Ordinary Partnership (O.P.) and with this corporate form they continued collaborating until 1986. In 1986 the O.P. was changed to S.A. (printed on the 3496/31-12-86 issue of the OFFICIAL JOURNAL OF THE HELLENIC REPUBLIC) with head offices in Thessalonica and duration until the year 2085. In June of 1994 the company entered the main stock market of Athens
• Aims of company, according to her statute, are the undergoing of studies and their implementation and the undertaking, supervision and implementation of technical work for the Greek State, Municipalities and Communities, as well as private works as road construction, bridge making harbour, plumbers and general construction works. The production and marketing of tarmac and concrete, as well as the excavation, treatment and marketing of quarry products are equally aims of Mesohoritis Company.
• The company deals with the all categories of public work regardless of the property of the employer. Geographically although the company is active over the entire country, is active mainly in Northern Greece. Recently it began to activate itself also in the Balkan countries. The company has been preselected and undertook works of road construction in Albania, Bulgaria and former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia.
